Jelly Bean Mulch

We are making a transition from the typical playground rubber mulch to a safer mulch product. This search for a better, safer product for our children was initiated by a TLA parent.

Jelly Bean is a 100 percent wire-free pre-consumer virgin rubber mulch product. The material is sterile, latex free, and contains no such carcinogens or harmful VOC’s as tire mulch could. Jelly Bean is so safe it’s in compliance with California’s indoor air quality standards. The product is odorless, 100% free of contaminants and does not hold heat. On Saturday, April 7 a team of Trinity Lutheran Church volunteers will help with the distribution of 4,000 lbs. of new mulch.
