Fine Motor and Football

September 17, 2018

It's all about that pencil grasp when we are three and four. However, there are some preparatory skills that strengthen our fingers so they are ready for that pencil grasp and all the writing we soon get to do. Our friends in Ms. Leonna and Ms. Christie's three year old class were practicing sewing footballs and holding onto a string with their pencil grasp. Lots of focus and concentration was happening and it was really quiet in the classroom, kind of rare for three. Their footballs are complete and ready to kick off the football season. I wonder if any Georgia Bulldog players practiced their sewing skills to strengthen their fine motor skills when they were three?  GOOOO DAWGS!
